Our Mission

Shepard College is an independent, non-profit, online, non-denominational institution. It is dedicated to preparing leaders for careers in Christian service without regard to gender, race, religion or ethnic origin. It is committed to offering quality certificate, undergraduate programs, and ordination opportunities for persons desiring to undertake careers in faith-based arts administration and performance.

The College’s goal is to produce graduates who will become critical thinkers who can lead and develop world-wide, faith-based and civic arts organizations for social change to the betterment of humankind.  The academic experiences we provide are designed to foster understanding of the arts in its religious and aesthetic universal context. The educational experience from Shepard College of Ministry and Creative Arts will incorporate the use of technology, exposure to recent research driven developments, build on students’ life experiences, as well as further develop the ability the students’ ability to critically think and communicate in a global and multicultural society.
