Bachelor Degree Programs
Bachelor of Theological Studies Degree Program – 120 credit hours
The Bachelor of Theological Studies Program at Shepard College of Ministry and Creative Arts is a four-year program that provides courses in theological studies with a focus on practical applications to arts-related ministries. Students major in Theological Studies and select a minor in an arts area to complete their program of study. Students who have completed the Associate in Biblical Studies Degree may transfer courses into the bachelor’s program. Applicants may petition for significant life experience credit, limited to a maximum of 37 credit hours, or may transfer credits from accredited community, biblical, or bachelor degree granting institutions.
Courses in the Bachelor of Theological Studies Degree Program are designed to:
- Provide students the knowledge and skills needed to become effective ministers in community-based Christian programs.
- Provide students the knowledge and skills needed to effectively direct Christian arts programs.
- Fulfill the requirements for ministerial ordination.
