Two Week Hands On Training
Dancers, singers, artists, playwrights, and actors from all over the world choose summer intensive programs to share and sharpen their skills in an environment that richly embraces the arts. Shepard College does just that in a ministry infused environment that helps you to reach your fullest potential.
The Shepard College of Ministry and Creative Arts (SCMCA) 2-Week Summer Intensive Program delivers an in-depth concentrated learning experience. The courses and activities are generally scheduled all day long with evening evangelistic sessions daily. Class sizes are small so that each student receives ample attention. Instruction also includes ministry as well as community service advisement sessions as some of our programs include Christian and secular career planning.
SCMCA draws upon deep and organic connections to many of the creative sectors in Christian arts movements that enhance the cultural and spiritual life of the Kingdom of God all over the world. Summer Intensive Programs are held each summer at visiting university campuses that are leaders in the arts. Whether you are just beginning or feel the call in praise & worship, dance, drama, or visual art, the SCMCA Summer Intensive Program offers a wide range of experiences.
Our curricula meet the highest standards that are equal to those of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country. Our faculty and workshop presenters are composed of leaders in the Christian arts world as well as scholar/practitioners who combine theory with hands-on application.
